Dr. Alberding is an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify benefits for out-of-network providers.   Full fee will be paid on day of service. 

Dr. Alberding is an in-network provider with Paramount HMO/PPO/Marketplace insurance plans.  She is not an in-network provider for Paramount Advantage/Elite.

Dr. Alberding is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist who completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan in 2019, where she was honored with the Resident Achievement Award. Originally from Indiana, she completed her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at Purdue University and her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. 

While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Alberding gained extensive knowledge in the field of perinatal psychiatry as well as expertise in treating mood and anxiety disorders, which remain her areas of clinical focus. She continues to enjoy working with teenagers, adults, and families across the lifespan. 

She utilizes both medication management and therapeutic approaches and will assure that treatment decisions are made with you after a discussion of diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and the current evidence base in medical literature. If indicated, she will work closely with other medical specialists, primary care physicians, and individual therapists to assure that she is providing the best care to her patients. She prides herself on utilizing a values based, collaborative approach to treatment and truly cares about who you are and what is important to you.  

Outside of work, Dr. Alberding enjoys spending time with her significant other. In their free time, they enjoy cooking and traveling.
