Elizabeth is currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed School Counselor in the state of Ohio. Originally from Amherst, Ohio, she completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Cleveland State University, with a focus on development across the lifespan. Additionally, Elizabeth graduated with honor's when obtaining her master's degree in both School and Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. Throughout graduate school Elizabeth worked diligently to remain in excellent academic standing, and was inducted into the honor's fraternity, Chi Sigma Iota. Elizabeth continues to be a member of both the American Counseling Association and the American School Counselor's Association. Elizabeth has continued her education, pursuing additional trainings in Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive  Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Play, Substance Abuse, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Disorders.

 

Elizabeth enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan, and identifies the importance of family involvement to yield the most effective results. Elizabeth's strength as a counselor is building a positive therapeutic relationship with her clients, and their families. As a duly licensed counselor, Elizabeth understands the importance of collaborating with the schools and families to provide a more holistic approach to client care. Elizabeth's passion for working with others includes, but is not limited to, the treatment of trauma, grief, and mood disorders, using evidence based approaches specific to each individual's needs. 

 

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on the Cleveland sports teams. Elizabeth is also an advocate of physical wellbeing and participates in multiple sports to keep active and promote an overall healthy lifestyle.
