Psychiatrist (Prescribing Physician)
Dr. Kamel is an adult psychiatrist and is currently working towards completing his fellowship training in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Toledo. Dr. Kamel completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida and double majored in Biology and Health Sciences. He went on to complete medical school in Erie, Pennsylvania at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he successfully completed and earned his Osteopathic Medical Degree. Dr. Kamel then relocated to Toledo, OH to join the University of Toledo for his residency training in Psychiatry.
Dr. Kamel has extensive experience in treating various mental health conditions including anxiety, mood, attention, and thought Disorders. He values a dynamic approach to patient care and uses psychotherapy as well as evidenced based medication management into his treatment plans. He was recently the recipient of the Gold Humanism Award for excellence in teaching and patient care.
During his free time, Dr. Kamel enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 dogs and their hobbies include going to comedy shows, gardening, woodworking, and traveling.

Provider is an in-network provider with Medical Mutual and Paramount HMO/PPO/Marketplace insurance plans. He is not an in-network provider for Paramount Advantage/Elite.
He is an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify benefits for out-of-network providers. Full fee will be paid on day of service.
